Kenny takes his wireless guitar out into the room for the solos, David pulls people onto the floor instead of singing at them, and by the second half the whole band is out there with your guests. Review after review says the same thing: even the ones who never dance were up.
They carry the whole night and bring everything with them, PA and lighting included, set up in about an hour. Optional called ceilidh set available if you want one.

The Hype Band were amazing from start to finish! They provided the best vibes on our wedding night and everyone had the most amazing time. People couldn’t stop speaking about them the next day. We loved how interactive they were with the crowd and the dancefloor was never empty which is exactly what we wanted. Not to mention that they are also a lovely bunch of guys who were easy to talk to and had great communication whenever we had questions on the run up to the wedding. Thanks again guys for making our wedding evening so much fun!
A HUGE thank you to the hype for living up to their name! Yous really did create the biggest hype and kept all my guests on the dance floor! Even before your arrival my videographer Aaron asked who our band was and when I said the hype he said yous were absolutely one of the best bands out there! Your energy levels were so high the whole time and song choices were 10/10! We had a few folk from various locations from around the world who have never done ceilidh dancing before and they absolutely loved it!!! I really appreciated you guys singing my mums favourite song, that was very special for especially me and my sister! So many people keep telling me how amazing pitbull was and how they LOVED the light up guitar and the fact you guys really mingled in on the dance floor! The dream band for our day! Thank you so much ☺️
One word to describe this band INCREDIBLE!!!! The Hype were truly entertaining. We had a daytime set which was a more chill vibe but sounded absolutely amazing. Then had the full band at night and we could not have been happier. The dance floor was never empty and they engaged with the crowd the whole night. If anyone is looking for a wedding band don’t look any further. BOOK THEM NOW - you will not regret it 🥰 Everyone we have spoke to since have commented how good you guys were!
